The Plot

The Dawning is a semi realistic roleplay based in the time of Vikings, when a world filled with mysterious creatures and humans was born. This roleplay is quite heavily inspired by ‘Eragon’ and ‘How to Train your Dragon’, and thus we may have some similar features.We accept roleplayers from beginner, all the way through to advanced, and we offer a friendly, active, expanding community. No matter whether you are new to this whole ‘roleplaying’ thing, or whether it is an ‘old friend’, lets say. We do not have a set plot for our members to follow, being a vastly free roleplay for our community to enjoy. Overall, the humans and dragons live side by side in the world, however, obviously this kind of peace cannot simply exist without tension... Or can it? Which side are you on?

Board Information & Statistics

The Town

'Haliandria' is a humbled town, just south west of 'Talis Forest'. The buildings are mostly small cottages, made from wood and cheap quality stone. All in all, it has that overall medieval theme to it. On the South side of the village lies the stable, with faithful mounts available for sale, along with a barn and a fairly small field, however large enough for a good quantity of animals to graze. Other than that, it is all the usual for towns such as this one. Farms, barns, houses, stores ect.
