Feather Dragons
Unfortunately, there is only a single species recorded thus far.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
'Nyro Wyvern'
The first notable feature of this species is their minature size, even at adulthood; about the size of a domesticated cat or two. They can come in most any colour, except black and while; these colourations of raptor generally have some form of status in the small groups they usually reside within, usually the Ry'eda (Alpha female), Ry'gul (Alpha male), or their Ry'ode/Ry'oda (Their young) baring the colour. They share the general structure of what one may imagine a microraptor to be like, however they are typically light enough, have a long enough wingspan and hollow bones which can allow powered flight for a small while, however they usually stick to climbing and gliding.
Personality wise, Nyro Raptors each have their own distinct and defined personality, although they more often than not all share a few similar traits. The love of climbing, for example, using the small set of claws positioned on the tips of their wings. They are able to pick out the emotions of others easily enough, and they have a strong ability to mimic.
Also, the way they take care of their young. When they have young, they usually create a burrow in the ground, either evicting earthly creatures from their homes, or digging it out theirselves, for the first 4-6 months of their hatchling's lives. Hatchlings begin clambering around at the tender age of 2 months and are covered in a downy grey layer of fluff until the age of 6 months, when their colourations and feathers really begin to develop. However, their eyes do not open until 4 months, and their wings are useless until about the 7-9th month. At this stage, they will begin to attempt to get some form of flight. They are able to get very attached to things, even that aren't of their species, and sometimes even consider things like humanoids part of their 'family group'.

Nyro wyverns generally mature extremely quickly, yet their entire lifespan is not as long as their larger counterparts. They remain extremely short throughout ther lives, and usually only progress 5cm throughout the various stages of life.
